Anti-Bullying Policy

We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our school. If bullying does occur, all pupils should know what to do and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively. We are a TELLING school. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell a member of staff.

Our policy clearly details different types and examples of bullying, signs and symptoms of bullying and the procedures we would follow if bullying was found to be happening. The main purpose of our policy is to prevent bullying.

“ If I have a problem I know the teachers will help. The yellow cards stop any bullying.”
(Keelin aged 8)

“The teachers always sort problems out.”

“I always know that I can ask someone if I am worried about anything.”
