Uniform

We have a very simple uniform that the pupils are encouraged to wear. We believe what a child wears reflects his/her attitude to learning, it portrays the school’s ethos and shared positive values.

Children wear a red sweatshirt or cardigan, a white or red polo shirt and grey or black trousers or skirt. In the summer girls are welcome to wear red and white checked dresses. School uniform can be purchased from the school office. A price list is shown below (correct at time of publication). We only stock sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts and book bags.

P.E. Kit

It is important for pupils to wear safe clothing for physical activities. P.E. requires a t-shirt and shorts as well as suitable footwear. For games activities outside track suits or sweatshirts may be worn. Your child’s teacher will tell you the P.E. days for their class although we do recommend that they have a PE kit in school at all times. All clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Jewellery

The only items that are considered appropriate are watches, and these are only allowed in KS2, to encourage the children to tell the time for themselves. For safety reasons, the school does not approve of either jewellery or cosmetics unless it is for cultural reasons, and is approved by the Head Teacher. Please note that staff are not allowed to remove or look after jewellery for children. The safest place to keep it is at home.
